Try reading the NEWBIES Sticky thread or searching for "ALDI".

There is so much advice already on here and your case is no different from others.

If you think this is a fine, then you really need to get into the Newbies Sticky to educate yourself properly!

And you do need to challenge this - If you do things properly, yes there will be no need to pay it but the days of just being able to ignore PE tickets in England and Wales are long gone.

ParkingEye issued court papers to over 30,000 people in 2014, had loads settled by scared victims, then had actual court hearings regarding most of the rest and won most of the claims as well, making people fork out around £175 a pop. NOTE: Not getting at the OP in particular. The following comment could apply to many, many posters on this and many other forums.

The ability to read and repeat what is said would be a good start for many posters. For a start, I don't think the satirical magazine has gone into parking enforcement. And nowhere will the word "fine" have been used. I'm afraid that until people read and understand the words in front of them without slapping their own interpretation on top, this whole thing will continue. Now I understand why we did English comprehension at school. Maybe they don't teach it any more.

People who ignore ParkingEye have a 1:10 chance (approx) of being landed with a court case. Never heard of a court case with respect to Aldi parking, but that doesn't mean they don't happen (or possibly Aldi has an agreement with PE not to sue, but we can't know that).
