Halifax Current Acc and D/Ds

Hello

Quick question I was thinking about switching my current account to Halifax to avail of the £125 switching offer.
It stipulates you must have two direct debits to be switched over. I have 1 active DD and 5 inactive ones. I just linked my Paypal account to my bank account does that count as an active DD, and do inactive DD count.

Don't want to switch if I miss out on the £125 because of lack of DDs

You do not need to switch DDs at all for the £125 incentive payment.

DDs are only required for the ongoing Reward payment, should you wish to switch into that account.

So if you want the ongoing Reward payment, switch your account and then set up the DDs with Halifax.

Re the DDs for the Reward payment, any will do...so long as they both pay out each month.
