Hi
I sold some tickets on ebay last night (not to make money, just because I have had an accident and cant go).
As usual, there was a bit of a bidding war in the last few mins. Anyway, it looks like the person that won put in a proxy bid at about 3 mins to go.
I'm so used to people paying by paypal straight away so I didnt send an invoice but after a few hours passed with no payment I sent one. I started what pay methods i accept and asked them to contact me within 24 hours to let me know how they were paying.
I still havent heard from them so am stating to worry a little. I know I shouldnt worry yet but the show is in 10 days time and I have no idea what to do if she doesnt pay up. There are other bidders to fall back on but do I have to wait 7 days to do this? It would be leaving it a little late then.
Any advice? I cant afford to lose the money from these tickets.

Not everybody is online 24/7
Pull their contact details from eBay (http://search.ebay.co.uk/_W0QQtZvbQQsofindtypeZ9) & phone them
Then if they don't want them issue a UPI DIspute (Buyer no longer wants the item) & immediately email the next highest bidder & see if they're still interested in them0 -
Well ebays t&cs are that they have 7 days to pay. But because of the current problems with royal mail strikes you could send an email or pull their contact details from ebay, you need to check when the strike days are to ensure you can guarantee the tickets reaching them on time, I think their is industrial action tues, wed, thur and some sorting/delivery offices are also on unofficial strike.0
