suggestion - last post read per thread

unless i have missed it, it would be good to have an option where, once u login, if u click on a thread you have looked at already, the last unread post comes open rather than having to read through the entire thread again, ie if on a thread, the last post read was post 35, then if i look at it a week later, it starts at post 35 again, with perhaps a little emoticon showing theres unread posts (like on the ebay forums):D

Next to threads that have new posts since you visit, you should see " "
Click this to go to the first unread post

There's also " " a bit further to the right to take you to the last post in the thread

ah but there's a better one that little button takes you only to the last post in the thread but there's one on another forum I've seen where you could get to the last post you made and where you left - I suppose it helps only if you've made a post though

The is on the main page where threads are listed. It takes you to the first post you haven't read.

There's also text in bold at the top of each thread saying something like click here to go to first unread post.
