Can anyone, suggest a flowering plant - that is not going to attract a load of wasps!?

Would the small flowers of a Jasmine qualify I wonder? Though, don't like the info on them about 3m high!

There aren't many flowers that really attract wasps specifically

No there aren't, but there are flowers that attract more wasps than others.

Wasps are very useful in the garden situation.

I've got a big jasmine and haven't noticed wasps on it.

During the summer, wasps are after protein rather than sweet stuff so are more interested in caterpillars, flies, aphids, etc.

Avoid the later flowering plants when the wasps are looking for sugar.

There are some hoverflies that look like wasps - they are also predators on bugs so should be welcomed into the garden.

I have a Porcelain Vine growing all the way along a south facing fence and in August time it gets covered with wasps looking for nectar, they have never caused any harm as they are so intent on the nectar although I am mindful not to disturb them.

Thanks - I had an idea to have a Jasmine on the side of the garage (though a bit wary about how high they can grow) - the big quandary with the wasps - is the danger the may come in the house - kitchen door about four feet away!!

Not convinced it really matters. If a plant attracts wasps it might be a good thing as they will focus on that. The problem with wasps is that they are attracted to our food and drink in the garden. You're not really going to deter them by your choice of garden plants IMO. Possibly don't leave fallen fruit from apple and pear trees lying around because they are definitely attracted to that.
