Extraction Fan HOSE advice please.

I had to replace the concertina hose from the extractor fan vent (Bathroom Ceiling) to the fan unit in the loft, about 10ft of hose. I used Tumble hose pipe (what was available from local DIY), which is appears to be the same. The tumble hose is more softer and not as rigid. Plus had to use 2 hoses of 8ft with a joining coupler.
Is the tumble hose ok, for a bathroom extractor?

Also, the actual bathroom extractor fan appears to be quieter in the bathroom, I guess this is because the pipe is longer, but as it is the concertina hose it is not been over stretched.

Thoughts please. Thank you.

The hose you now have is, as with most things, cheaper and thinner than the old hose. It will be fine.

What about the fact the extractor fan is now much quieter than before?

Is the extraction unit in the loft?

What is the rated extraction rate and the maximum recommended ducting length for it?

If there are any gaps in the join or seal at both ends, this may affect the amount of extraction.

With the fan on, will a sheet of paper hold against the vent?
