Missing Debts?

Hi guys.
so ive checked my credit file on credit expert today and it says my debt is only £470.
i am regularly paying other debts that are not listed on my file and have been for some time and if the payment is late they are straight on the phone trying to get it paid.
my question is are all these other debt companies that send letters and call up for old debts legit or are they just trying to cash in on a debt that the original creditor has decided to no longer chase.
the reason for the question is the debts on my credit file are frozen as im paying of the oldest debts first. am i doing the wrong thing as the longer i leave the debts on my credit file the worse its getting?

Did you default on any of the dents and, if so, how long ago?
Defaulted accounts are removed from your credit report 6 years after default date, so if you defaulted today you could expect the account to drop off 15/03/2021.What will your verse be?

the debts arent 6 years old more likely 4-5 years old.
for example i had an ipad and camera on a finance deal from currys when i was 19-20ish and stopped paying being young and foolish.
im paying it back through lowell now and i pay regularly but its not n my file at all0 -
Check your credit files with Equifax and Noddle too, it might just be that Experian doesn't have the account. What will your verse be?

When I check all 3 credit reports, I find missing account from Experian about 50% of the time.
I send them an email and they sent me a form for a free credit file check (via post though)0 -

I would really like to help you with this one establish why account information is missing from your Experian Credit Report.
Once you've received your report, if you wanted to get in contact with us, together we'll be able to check through your credit report to help resolve any issues you have in regards to missing account information.
Kind Regards

Thank you for this, it is about that time again where I am due to check all 3 so I will be sure to use your link if any accounts are missing (although this time might be the 50% where they all appear
)
I just wish you had a different system for the £2 statutory report rather than wait 5-7 days for a pin code to come by post, especially after ordering the report for the 8th time (ish)!
Anyway, thanks again for your message0
