Being ignored about faulty £6k machine bought over the phone...

That's true, I was foolish trusting company which is well known in it's field, all that because other machine we already own for some time failed, and other business has failed to follow contract by not repairing it within 48h as stated. Pressure is beyond imagination when so many people counting on you.
It wouldn't be that much of problem if machine wasn't looking it's best, as long as it worked.
And Hinza... Yes, I do declare my income to HMRC, every penny, but as self-employed I'm not using business name. Just wasn't sure if this makes any difference.
Either way... I will still try to solve this amicably, at least I know were I stand. Thank you for all your suggestions.
I'm not the luckiest person lately, or maybe lack of sleep took my brain away. Still a lot to learn.0 -
If you did not use a business name or business account to purchase the goods, there might be a case under the Sale of Goods Act, but it might be difficult to prosecute, as the machine is likely to be considered to be for business use only. You may be able to claim from your debit card provider, under the charge back scheme.0
