I have found a web site called 'TheTVzone' advertising a top brand 4k tv at a couple of hundred pounds cheaper than John Lewis and also offering a five year guarantee.
Has anyone heard of them or dealt with them ?, sometimes , if an offer is to good to be true it's a scam .

Presumably you've found the .co.uk website of that name. It was only registered on the 5th of this month, so pretty new to say the least!
It might not be a scam, but could just be a new startup. However, look at the address on their website - it's just an industrial park without giving a unit number.
Personally, I wouldn't risk that type of cash on something like that...I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the In My Home MoneySaving, Energy and Techie Stuff boards. Worries:
1. They take your money, but don't deliver anything for ages. They basically negotiate a bulk discount when they have enough orders.
2. The merchandise is "reconditioned".
3. They use really cheap couriers, and the TV is damaged during transit.
4. They have no customer service worth speaking of. If nothing is wrong, you got a good deal. No way of returning the item, if need to.
5. The 5 Year Warranty is dodgy, but the standard manufacturer warranty should still work.0 -
This is part of a fairly large scam:
