    I don't think it is an approved 'investment' and definitely not recommended. Don't you know that 95% of spread bet accounts make a loss and of the remaining, they probably are using inside information which you won't have.

    You can hold CFDs in your SIPP, and there are a few providers who do this (but I don't think any of the big names do). However, if you want to gamble, your pension is the worst place to do it.

    Edit: Saxo seem to do it.
