Hi,
I wrote a guide to help with this, available here but if you have any specific questions I'll try to answer them.

have a condenser drier, expensive one.
Bought it before there were any reviews in mags about it.
Its cheap to run, thing is you can't shut the door as steam leaks out and causes condensation.
So if I bought another one it would be one with the pipe, non condenser

vented if possible...........never liked the warm damp smell in houses with condensing dryers. I think the owners of them just get used to it.go on, adopt a greyhound

We've had both, the condensor caught fire, and actually i have to say the vented dryer dries clothes faster with more load in it.0

Had a condenser drier for about 5 years and never had a problem with it. Used during the winter and heats the area around it very well! Never had a vented one so can't comment. Can comment on #14's post - never really had that smell and never will. My house is well ventilated thank you! lol!
At the end of the day it's personal choice - and circumstance. Depends whether you can house a condenser or a vented one. Didn't like the idea of putting a hole through my wall, specially as I don't really use it much and would be moving it soon (into the garage).Thank you to everyone who posts comps! :A
I would like to be lucky,healthy & happy in 2020! :T0
