PE Ratio For Major Indexes

I am looking to get the current P/E ratios for the worlds major stock indexes but for some I am struggling. I was wondering if anyone has any suggestions where to find them, I really don't want to have to go through all the constituents of the individual index and average the P/E ratio for all companies.


I have no problem finding the Dow Jones I or S&P 500 however for the FTSE 100, Euro Stoxx 50, Nikkei 225, RTSI, S&P CNX Nifty, and the shanghai composite I am really struggling.


Anyone got any suggestions or websites that will help achieve this?

Look at the information docs for, e.g., Vanguard index trackers. They usually contain the P/E ratio (might be a few months out of date)
