Tesco(?) Account for Direct Debits

Options
Hi. I've seen mention somewhere in the forum of a Tesco account that can be set up to draw 2 DDs on another account. I've searched the forum as best I can but cannot find the mention I've seen. I'm looking for something to draw on a Club Lloyds Current Account. Can anyone please advise me on which Tesco account this is (or details of another account to do same)? Cheers - S

You can also use an AA Internet Extra account but you will have to link your Lloyds account to this.

Thanks both for your replies. That's great, I already have Tesco accounts so I can add one of these. Thanks again - S

OK. Thanks for the info. Had hoped that I'd be able to create 2 DDs from one account (to 2 different accounts). Cheers - S :)

I've just set these accounts up today. Took less than 20 minutes.

It said that the direct debits should be in place by 23rd March or 10 days.

You can, or 8 DDs to 8 accounts if you want to.

However those current accounts needing DDs need two DDs, for which you would need two different Tesco accounts, or one of them could be sourced elsewhere.

    hi.
a bit more help reqd please.
We have opened a LLoyds club joint account & funded with the £1500 every month , and i have 2 direct debits coming out each month as well , i have got the first month interest ,so everything is up and running on this one.

This week we are opening 2 single club accounts as we have a appointment with the bank, i have now no d/debits spare , so i have opened 2 internet savers , 1 joint & one single account , will these 2 accounts be more than enough to feed the d/d to lloyds club?.

My wife as also got 2 tesco savings accounts with £3k in , can i also use these?.

as i am not all about on form filling on the pc im a bit nervous on how to set the d/d up next week when i have opened the new lloyd accounts, i dont know why really as some how i have done it before with other d/d that i have to pay, no doubt i will bluff my way through somehow.

You can certainly use your new Tesco Internet saver (single) account to pull a DD from your (single) Club Lloyds account.

I think your wife could also use the new joint Tesco Internet Saver account to pull a DD from your joint Club Lloyds account.

Are you sure these are both Savings accounts? If so, why has she got £3k in them:(

Or do you mean she has 2 Tesco Savings accounts? If so, she can use them to pull DDs from her Club Lloyds account :)
