We go to court on Tuesday to finalise gaining legal custody of her. It is a difficult time for my dd. She is starting to get well now, and we are all going out for Sunday dinner, with her (paternal) grandmother. For my dd & dgd there will be 4 generations at the table
Hopefully things will start to improve for us as it has been a very rocky 2 years.
It sounds like you are doing a fantastic job and even more so without ruining your relationship with your DD, it is for angels like you that there exist Mothers day cards for Grandmas who have had to take on the mothering role :AMake £25 a day in April £0/£750 (March £584, February £602, January £883.66)

I cooked lunch for my mum and managed to time it perfectly but that didn't stop her keep referring to my house as my 'little' house and saying that (in her opinion) her roast potatoes are better than mine.
DS proferred a box of chocolates though hasn't written the card that DH gave him but at least he didn't eat the chocolates
I sat down here ostensibly to do an online shop but I reckon, as long as we buy a box of cat food (they have turned their noses up at leftover roast chicken??!) we can easily last another couple of days eating from the fridge and freezer. I have lots of spring greens leftover from lunch time so bubble and squeak is going to be featuring on the menu somewhere!
I leafleted the road we'd like to live in yesterday but nobody has contacted me yet, a house has come on in that road but it has just 2 bedrooms and is newer/smarter than the 3 bed older ones we like and doesn't back onto the railway line. I've come to the conclusion I actually like backing onto a railway line, I've always commuted so have always needed to be near a train station and I like not being overlooked by other houses.
Tonight I will be putting my feet up to watch the Voice and the second part of something I watched on True entertainment last night. Since we ditched VM and went onto Freeview that is my favourite channel
The thing I started watching last night is fiction and actually has some big names in it but I do love their usual made-for-TV-very-loosely-based-on a-real-life-story movies, multi million pound budget blockbuster movies are wasted on me

All their songs are about beards. I especially enjoyed "If your dad doesn't have a beard then you've got two mums"
Tesco delivery this morning and I've added on a few value items to try, like stock cubes, wash powder etc to give them a try and see if I can get the shopping bills down a bit.
Boys made me card etc at school & hubby picked up a cd for me from them (£2.99) Pitch Perfect sound track which I love.
Spent £1.50 on my mums card, the kids took her to the cinema to see Paddington using our Sun Perks freebie tickets and then they came here for lunch from stores. I bet this has saved us at least £50 compared to normal but my mum commented on how nice the day had been :-)
Today's list is small...
* Do a little swagbucks whilst watching tv this evening
* My choice of film tonight, so I've picked The Thomas Crown affair (currently watching The Avengers Assemble with kids)
* All meals at home
* Check sun perks
* Make lunches for family for tomorrow
* Use the foot cream I found & paint my finger nails (last 18 months been having gel nails but I've cut that out now to try and boost our savings)Following :money: to keep us debt free :j0
