I'm sending makeup and skincare amongst other things and I know hermes don't allow it so who is next for best prices for heavy items? Maybe even 10kg?

That isn't the answer I was looking for
I once did and got caught out. I packaged it really well too but it still managed to leak. It's too high a value with everything to get caught out.
Some of these things I was sent from companies myself, so are you sure there isn't a way? I know nail polishes are limited to one with royal mail.
Thank you for your reply btw.Cup of Tea? :coffee:0 -
?? Max of 4 x 30ml per package.......... I know nail polishes are limited to one with royal mail. ........
Hermes do carry liquids but they are not covered for compensation. Perfume, aftershave and some alcoholic products are not permitted so you need to decide exactly where your liquids sit.0 -

If products are leaking, either your packaging wasn't up to the mark to prevent it, or those products were not designed to be packaged for mail order.
If your product(s) are too high value to 'get caught out', perhaps mail order is not the way to go.
There are probably companies out there that will courier for you, their insurance is likely high and therefore prohibitive for you as it will kill your profit margins.
Many companies do post out liquid products, in fact I purchase them from ebay and haven't really had any issues with leaks on delivery.
There are ways to prevent leaks through packaging such as using polythene tube as an internal packaging sleeve, then heat sealing at each end.
Still won't stop the actual product containers leaking, which is not what your customers would want to see when opened.
Have you looked at good old Royal Mail?0
