Bank charges reclaim and hardship

I have been involved with a dmp for six years now, and have been repaying money each month to six seperate creditors. Following an annual review I checked all statements and found that on four of the creditors I have repaid far more than the original debt. Yet despite this I am still repaying what is interest and charges. I have challenged all the creditors and gone to the FOS who gave a final decision last year but victory was rather hollow. It was accepted that I was in financial hardship and the banks had been sympathetic by offering some money to reduce the debt.

In a complete twist of fate I wrote again this year to all creditors and one creditor has agreed to refund a large chunk of the charges and has even admitted in writing that they did not agree with the FOS decision that they had acted sympathetically. I referred matter back to FOS who is using argument that final decision has been made and can not re-open complaint even though this is a new development.

Any ideas of what can the next course of action be without going to court as I can not afford this route.

Thank you

There is no other course of action. You are barred from the FOS now as its too late. So, only if the individual firms agree to another look voluntarily, will you get anywhere. Or courts but remember that the the FOS requirement to treat you sympathetically does not apply to courts.
