Public transport to and from O2

If you are staying near the National Maritime Museum, the easiest way to the O2 is to catch the 188 bus. It runs straight past the NMM and will drop you right outside the O2.
Alternatively get a cab. It's only 2 miles, so split between 4 of you shouldn't cost a fortune.0 -
You really do not want to be taking the Jubilee or DLR if you are trying to get straight to central greenwich! It will be a huge detour! And cost a lot more! And be busier!
Just get the 188 or 129 bus. Or agree if there are 4 of you taxi may be cheaper. Or it can be walked, but it can take longer than you think if you don't know the way.:T0 -
I've been to the O2 for lots of concerts, I was there last Friday for the Script with my daughter. There's a slow moving crowd to get into the tube station, its length depending on whereabouts you are in the O2 and how long it takes you to get out. Last Friday we were a bit slow and got delayed buying a programme and were still on the platform no more than 15 minutes after the band finished.
I always go the front of the trains (as we head to Waterloo and that's where one of the exits is) and have always got a seat, in fact the front carriages are normally no more than half full. The restricted entrance to the tube station means the number of people on the platforms is less than the trains can carry.
All that said, where you are heading the tube is no good for you and you should get the bus!0
