Santander 123 cashback query (Abbey Mortgage)

Hi
very recently got a mortgage from Abbey (Santander) all came on Santander paperwork.
Was thinking of switching our joint account to them for all our household bills etc, especially with the cashback offers.
They state that cashback on a mortgage payment is only available to Santander mortgages, as Abbey is Santander would this qualify?
I have posed this with them but yet to hear a response.

Yes that will qualify as Santander took over Abbey. I have got a new credit card with Santander but the direct debit says Abbey for some reason.0
