Putting up new Sculptured Coving

hi all,
i plan on putting up some new coving in our dinning room; think we've found the one we like and it'll also go nicely with the skirting.
it's from Screwix : http://www.screwfix.com/app/sfd/cat/pro.jsp?id=12010&ts=34041#
Because it's not the standard curved/eliptical coving which needs a special coving mitre for cutting internal and external corners, can i get away with cutting it normally (making straight 45 degree cuts) for a 90 degree corner?
And what sort of saw/blade would make the cleanest cut? The coving is made from Polyurethane
Any help or suggestions will be greatly received. :T

I am considering getting one of these it measures the angle of the corner as invariably the corners are not exactly 90 degrees
