Any charity collecting foreign currency

I have cleared out a family house and there is a bowl full of foreign coins and some notes. Its European and pre Euro. Any one know where to put this to good use.

I found some pre-euro money from Holland, sorry forgot what it was, will they take this, I was going to throw it out! I'm at Manchester airport in a few weeks so could easily pop it in

Fantastic, I have loads of US cents too, I always come back with loads of them in my purse and forget to take them back with me on my next trip, so I shall take them too

im not sure if its a branch wide thing, but my local barclays has a collection for foreign currency for a charity (sorry, not sure which one)
maybe have a peek in a barclays next time your passing one (and swear under your breath at them for me!)0 -
Our Barclays used to have a similar thing, I think Lloyds did aswell.One day I might be more organised...........

British Airways do something like this to - there is an envelope in the seat back and you are encouraged to leave your no returnable coins. Think that it goes to unicef to.0
