  • Reading all finished so already for course tomorrow. Just got an 11hr day to get through at work today. Made a 40p TT whilst kettle was boiling this morning. We may hit a £600 OP total for Feb, so now looking at accounts and seeing if i can squeeze some more pennies out things.

  • Busy one this morning getting the 3 amigos plus pooch up and ready. I have a course, DS1 has a school trip and I need to do 2drop offs before even heading towards school! Roll on 8.50 when all are dispatched and I can tootle off on on my own.

£1.01 TT this morning. TT's are all that we have for the next week or so and I'm hoping for a quiet financial month...the issue is relaying this to Mrs SJ

  • I, too am hoping for a quiet financial month, and a 5 week(er) too, with 2 weeks off at the end. Hope it all pans out.

  • I can't sit still either SJ! OH really enjoys watching TV so I tend to knit while it's on.

Hooray for the successful DIY. So glad we bought a place with inbuilt wardrobes. :D
  • Built in wardrobes have made me lazy! 4 bedrooms, and 3 have, so i was a reluctant flat pack builder for that 4th one!

Made a 42p TT this morning and thankful for payday. Payday makes me realise how close it is to accounts time, and the excitement of knocking off another 1k barrier.

Had 2 very mentally intense days on my course so am feeling jaded tonight. Heading round to SIL for a birthday tea for Mrs SJ so i need to find some energy!! Then im in work 9-2 tomorrow and then to a 40th that is starting at 3! I'm dodging day 3 of the course, but Sunday is day 4 so i need to be in a good shapoe for the morning 30mile drive.... I'm nervous and anxious...Need to be controlled and restrained...Am hoping that the last train home can bew the very last resort to getting home and having at least 8hrs kip!!

I've alreadr resigned myself to being a zombie in work on Monday, but it gets worse as Mrs SJ is away Mon-Thursday! Survival, survival, survival (and i mean for the 3 kids not me)!

  • Well last night was great but 2am getting to bed hasn't given me a good start to my energy battle!! At least i'd only had a few bottles of beer so my head's fine! Unlike Mrs SJ who i suspect will be in a bodybag all day!!

Made a 92p TT this morning which is always a nice feeling to have a chunky one! Breakfast time beckons....

It all sounds *so* exhausting Jimmy!

Apparently Nationwide won't let me TT less than £1 to one of my savings accounts - which has both its good side and it's bad side.... just glad TTing isn't a daily occurrence for me!

  • Survived! Exhausted but made it!! Can have a rest in work today!

Managed to keep up with TT's, but thats about all moneywise over the weekend. OP'd the TT pot of £5.25 yesterday, and then retstarted this morning with 86p.

Got some budget work to do but need a less fuzzy/tired head for that!!

  • Been diary absent for a couple of days due to busy busy life getting in the way! Kept up with TT's, not sure of amounts for each day but tioday was 77p.

End of the month so the excitement of accounts day has arrived. I'm gonna snatch some time at work today to get everything worked out and posted. Current account wise Mrs SJ gets paid a week on Friday and i suspect we may need to borrow some petrol money from savings for next week. Partly because i had an extra 250 miles to drive for work last week which i wont get back until end of March. So no great drama., I'm fully hoping we will be back on an even keel post Christmas and the mad months of Jan & Feb for family birthdays.

We sold 4 items on the bay on Sunday. The relist pile is gradually reducing yet the "to-list" pile is multiplying, so need to pull my finger out!!
