Thanks jodles. Just TT'd another £1 this morning. Bank account looks very healthy and Mrs SJ gets paid on Friday so I'm just weighing how much of a bonus OP to send. Thinking about £50 but just need to do some calculations first! Determined to get another £800 OP month whilst there's no council tax to pay!

I didn't get my reward - my switch completed 4th of the month, so maybe that's why - not a complete month:(

Wow, quiet week for me on here, and didn't even sneak a visit yesterday! I've been on with TT's and sent £1 this morning. The pot for the week is currently £5.37 with tomorrow to go before OPing it.

Mrs SJ got paid yesterday and account was in good health so I've been weighing up how much of a bonus OP to make. I couldn't decide between £30 and £40, so opted for £50!

Coop to Yorkshire bank switch completed on Thursday, so now a 60 day wait fir the £150 so I need to remember to shuffle in and out £1k for March and April.

Lastly Mrs SJ is now ready to return to gym membership so that's £10 a month I need to rebudget for. When she cancelled for pregnancy last year I temporarily allocated the cash to OP's but we all know that's not moving back!

Mr SJ, you seem to be the master of current account switching. Am I right in thinking that if I open a current account that requires a minimum pay in of £1000 p/m to get the interest advertised I can just set up a standing order from my current account with another bank to the new current account and then set up another standing order for the following day to send it back?

Mrsp - you can shuffle that way, or manually do it via after transfers which arrive within minutes. I favour the faster transfers approach and box them all off in a 10 min period. So...
FD to TSB1, TO TSB 2, TO Halifax 1, to Halifax 2, to Halifax 3, to coop/Yorkshire, then back to FD.
