First im sorry i couldnt post in citizen advide part.
I need help asap, thanks you.
My situation is i worked for a company for 4 years, my last day was on the 6th of March. The last time i got paid was the 13th of February. I just got paid today and found that i had been paid £200
I havent used over my holiday entitlement of 4 days.
My company paid for a college course which i said i would pay for by student finance and they would get their money back once the loan had been approved by them. I havent signed anything that said i would even pay this money back for the course.
I thought i had left on good teams, gave them full notice explained the course situation.
I cant live off 200 pound for the month i have rent, bills and kids to feed. Surely they cant do this?

How much do you think they should have paid you, and what does the pay-slip / letter say about deductions?
Is it the course fee? An agreement can be verbal rather than written although of course harder to prove. Has your loan been approved? All posts are my personal opinion, not formal advice Always get proper, professional advice (particularly about anything legal!)0 -

For an employer to make a deduction for training costs then there needs to be something specific signed by the employee. That is what the OP is referring to.0 -
CAB should be able to help you write a letter but if you have had a deduction for a reason that you have not agreed, you can take them to an ET for unlawful deduction of earnings. Unlikely they will let it get that far unless they have evidence so just ask them (in writing).Few people are capable of expressing with equanimity opinions which differ from the prejudices of their social environment. Most people are incapable of forming such opinions.0

Not true, but they would be stupid to proceed on the basis of a verbal statement.Few people are capable of expressing with equanimity opinions which differ from the prejudices of their social environment. Most people are incapable of forming such opinions.0 -
Are you paid in arrears or advance. Oh is paid on the 16th- but that is until the end of the month- so 2 weeks in arrears and 2 in advance. If you are the same you would only be eligible for under 1 weeks pay.June challenge £100 a day £3161.63 plus £350 vouchers plus £108.37 food/shopping saving
July challenge £50 a day. £ 1682.50/1550
October challenge £100 a day. £385/£31000 -

Sorry but you are wrong and LittleVoice is correct.
Unlike most aspects of employment law, where a verbal agreement would be valid, there is a specific requirement for a signed written agreement for training costs to be recoverable. Even then the amount recovered must be reasonable and proportionate.0
