best party for s+s investors

Options
Warning: political thread

Election on the way; purely from an individual wealth and particularly s+s perspective what do you all think regards the party most favourable to your financial goals.

Me: conservative

Pro business
Pro investment
High rate tax payer and avid pension saver so do not like Labour's ridiculous idea of taxing my pension to pay for pointless degrees
Believe in small public sector - big government = bad business and weak economy
Left is never right but I always am.

I'd tend to agree in relation to treatment of investors.

In terms of investment returns the graphs I've seen previously don't really seem to have shown any real correlation between political party in government and the stock market returns.
Remember the saying: if it looks too good to be true it almost certainly is.

Labour only if you want something and expect someone else to pay for it.

Remember we would have lower gas and electricity prices now if it weren't for the welfare party's proposed cap. No company would cut prices by much if they can't raise them back up later.

    Labour. Financial illiterates.

It would be nice to think Ed Miliband could sort out the offshore tax haven scam that exploits the poorest but I doubt he can. If I thought for one moment he actually could close them down then he'd get my vote.
