Confused!

I'm totally confused and as a result feeling incredibly anxious about my future.
I live with my parents but am desperate to move out (their property isn't suitable for someone with my disability) and find a place with my able bodied partner, who works full time.
I currently am in Support Group ESA and get HR Care & Standard Mobility PIP.
If I did move out and move in with my partner, what benefits would I lose and/or be eligible for? I'm completely confused about what I would lose (my entire ESA? would I then be eligible for HB? Does my partner's earnings mean I lose any help with housing?)
Can anyone give me any advice? (I'm trying to see someone at my CAB but it's difficult to say the least) Thank you

it would depend on whether you get income related or contributions based ESA.
housing benefit would be calculated on total household income.
they won't consider half the rent to be yours and half the rent to be your partners0 -
Oh, I'm on income related ESA. He earns £20k per annum.0

You would lose your ESA payments, though you'd still be eligible for NI Credits. You would keep your PIP payments. Any claim for HB would be based on your household income - you'd need to be in a high cost area to get any help on £20K.0

What is a high cost area? Housing here are ridiculously expensive, but I can't move out of area because my family are my carers and I need my long suffering (!) GP who deals with all my disability issues.
I've just been turned down for council housing because I live with my parents, so I'm in no 'need' even though the house is unsuitable for my physical issues. Instead, they're sending an Occy health person round to talk about adaptations to the house - my parents house that I'm trying desperately to get out of!
Feel like everything is against me right now.0 -
hi
Explain the situation to the OCCUPATIONAL THERAPIST these folk are generally quite good And can point you in the right direction... Dependant on area some OT's are from the local authority social work department ect. Who in turn may be able to assist or give a recomengation to the housing department ....

Was any medical evidence sent in with your council housing application? My application was approved; but I was placed way down on the list, despite the council admitting that my parents house was unsuitable. I then appealed and then got moved pretty quick.Sealed pot challenge #232. Gold stars from Sue-UU - :staradmin :staradmin £75.29 banked
