Car insurance for teenage daughter

Hi
Myself and my wife drives car and have separate car insurances.
How best to get car insurance for our 19 year old daughter who got driving license in 2013.
She don't drive now and don't intend to drive or have access to a car for next 1-2 years.
Just want to add up her no claims year and possibly reduce the premiums when she get a car.
Any advices from other parents?

There are a few insurers who will allow you to build up no claims as a named driver, but any no claims will expire after 2 years if no insurane is taken out in her name

Once she passes the age of 21 she'll inevitably see better rates anyway, two key points with insurance is 21 yr old then 25 yr old.
But if she isn't gonna be buying a car then no point spending what may well be well in excess of a thousand quid just to incrue NCB she may or may not be able to use in the future if it's accrued as a named driver.

    Don't worry about it now.

True but you can only use the named driver with the same insurer, you cannot take it to the rest of the market.

Op why 2 threads? You've already asked this in the insurance forum?
All matter is merely energy condensed to a slow vibration, we are all one consciousness experiencing itself subjectively, there is no such thing as death, life is only a dream, and we are the imagination of ourselves.

Doesn't seem unreasonable as both boards might offer help and not everyone reads both boards (I never look at the Insurance board).
