Halifax reward account query

The old £100 payment was being made the day following switch completion. Maybe the new £125 incentive is paid differently?

Does anyone know if both a/c holders must visit a branch in order to initiate a switch, or can I do it alone?

I switched online, despite the fact it says it has to be done in branch. It all went smoothly, no problems.
