If they wont sell on ebay, you'll be hard pushed to sell them anywhere else unless they're rare etc you could try car boot sales but you'd be lucky to get 20p each for them!0

How much are you asking for them - as 5th says, they don't go for much nowadaysGwlad heb iaith, gwlad heb galon0

If you have a car (or can team up with a relative or friend who does) a car boot sale would be your best bet. The trouble with videos is that unless they're rare, they cost more to post than they're worth so they tend not to sell well on eBay or other online venues.
At my local boot sales, videos are normally priced at 50p (sometimes 3 for £1), and people do still buy some.0 -
what videos are rare?!

what videos are rare?!
I did sell an old Johnny Morris one (Animal magic) for £8 a few months ago...but most of mine have now been dumped as even the charity shops won't take them.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. Song Of The South (old Disney film no longer available) is another very saleable video. Also, some collectors want the first video releases of classic Disney films and early "special edition" versions (complete with any "free gifts" which were supplied with them). Other rare videos would be things like relatively obscure 1980s telly programmes that were never released on DVD, and also some sports videos, and the uncertificated "video nasties" of the early '80s though I'm not sure about the legality of selling those.
In my area most of the charity shops still do videos (mostly priced at 50p-£1). If you just want to get rid of stuff, Freecycle/ Freeshare is normally worth a go.0 -
VHS video tapes are just not going to sell any more unless they are really rare, best thing to do may be to take them over to a hospital and see if they may want to stock them for people staying for a long time.
Childrens vids are always appreciated at my local hospital0 -
Amazon marketplace is worth a go for videos as there is no listing fee and you only get charged when you sell them. They are easy to list as you only need the barcode. You can also see the price others are listed at.
The majority won't sell but you might get rid of a few. I remember getting a few pounds for a video a while ago and two weeks later the dvd of the film was given away free with a newspaper!0 -
do pawn shops still take them you may be able to get rid of them there0

Be careful selling videos on Amazon, the postage allowance is low and its certainly not worth selling them for under about £1 I think is the minimum otherwise you will lose money. I've sold quite a few videos on Amazon but tend to list ones that are fetching higher prices. Not everything has been re-released on DVd so some videos are surprisingly highly priced. Worth checking out...0
