Hi all i took a £15000 certificate out in 2010 for 3 years, i then reinvested it in 2013 for 3 more years it was worth approx £17100 then i checked it in Dec last year and it was £18300 i checked it yesterday it now worth £18150 a loss of £150 in 3 months.is it worth keeping it or should i cash it in and reinvest it ? ps it due to mature march 2016.

    It has not lost anything.
    The valuation that you took in December was a snapshot sowing inflation up to then. However the certs are valued at ANNUAL inflation on the anniversary month of the date you took it out.
    Questioning whether you should cash in - what else would you do with the cash?
