just back from my local sainsburys (bretton, peterborough) with tassimo coffee/tea/chocolate machine on half price offer at £49.99 - off to make a cappucion

I was looking at these but didn't bother @ £99.99 but I may go for one at half that! The t-disks aren't cheap (£3.29 for 9 - 18 depending on what you buy) but you can get them online a bit cheaper from boots or tesco using discount codes. I read on amazon that if you register on the tassimo site they send you more t-disks free so may be worth a go if you get one;)

i wanted this one as it does hot choccie, i dont drink coffee and all the other machines like this just do coffee or tea. thanks op for this, trying to persuade mr divadee as we speak. he is claiming that i already have a hot choc machine................... him!!!

The big Gloucester store have no stocks at all so have either sold out or the offer is only available in certain branches.

An excellent price if you can find one

I saw at Waitrose in Cheltenham you get the machine for £99 but you also get a huge box of pods with it.

I saw that as well. They also had a promotional Tassimo van outside the store
when i popped in one luchtime a week or so ago.

Maybee other retailers will follow suit & half their prices. Could be its priced too expensive & not selling.

I came accross these at the ideal home show and tried a hot chocolate as tend to like this from machines. It tasted weak and watery. In addition the cappuchino looks as thogh it's got chemical froth - In my view you'd be better off with a coffee / cappuchino machine - I've got a 20 year old Baby Gaggia! which is used daily!. You can make excellent hot chocolate with these using the milk frother.
