Do defaults show on Experian statutory report?

Hi All,
I'd really appreciate some advice.
I got a settled default from 2012 of 300 pounds.
I used to have a membership with experian credit expert online to monitor my credit file and the default showed on it. I don't have the membership anymore as it got too expensive. I now ordered my statuory credit report and the default does not show up on there. Why is this and what do lenders really see?
I'm hoping to apply for a mortgage in the next two years or so...

That means it has been removed for some reason. Statutory report will include all info the creditexpert service does (apart from the useless rubbish like credit scores). What will your verse be?

There is no need to sign up for any paid subscription services with the Credit Reference Agencies. A statutory report costing £2 from each agency is sufficient and reports the same information as a subscription report. Although the default may not be visible on Experian's report, it may be visible on reports from the other 2 agencies (Equifax, Callcredit/Noddle), as different agencies have different relationships with lenders/creditors.
See links below to each agency's statutory report.

Source data between the 2 should be identical.
Could have/be:
- dropped off in the meantime if 6 years old
- been removed temporarily due to debt being sold on
- some error, mismatch or not going back far enough in the previous address info you gave to get the latest report.
- a simple glitch

Thanks everyone for your input!
No fermi can't have been sold on. I settled that default quite some time ago when it first showed up on my report but may have been one of the other reasons.0 -

Hi Jenny484,
I would like to look further into this for you and see what has happened with the default.
As Fermi has mentioned it could be an address mismatch that could have stopped it being retreived on you statutory report.
If you email your details (name,DOB and report ref) to me I can get this checked.
Look forward ot hearing from you.
