Choosing an Induction Hob

We have a rangemaster induction range and absolutely love it - it's advertised as "ceramic" glass.
Do consider the pans though because we have had some in the past that do not like induction (even if they have been "induction" specific pans but that is the risk you run buying in TK Maxx!!).Thinking critically since 1996....0 -

I have a Neff which I hard wired in at the weekend, it can be configured with the buttons on the front to tell it the maximum power it can draw. Since it's on a 32A circuit, that's about 7KW.
What model did you get?0 -
I do like my induction hob but I have found that some of the pans I have bought do not heat well. I returned a Sainsbury's pan and they said they had had a few returned. It's the pans with non-stick surfaces that I seem to have a problem with, not the steel ones. I also find it annoying that the surface marks even if it is slight. The easy clean surface makes me a bit OCD about keeping it immaculate, almost to the point of not wanting to use it haha! Also, I don't like cooking pancakes on an induction hob because you can't continue heating the pan when you lift off the hob to swirl the mixture around. I have never seen anyone else post any negative comments about induction hobs so I wonder if anyone has found some decent non-stick pans. I have a Neff T51T86X2.0

I have circulon pans, they're normally about £300 a set but got them for £130 in the Fenwicks sale a few years ago. They're amazing, still great two years on and I cook meals every single day (more than average as I also work from home)0
