Haven't seen a photographer at a wedding for ages.
Almost any idiot can take a decent photo now. And, as mentioned above, when you get everybody else's photos in, you can wade through the hundreds and thousands and pick out the ones you want.
Pay some photoshoper a few quid to spruce them up and the job's done.

Really, every recent wedding I've been to has had 1, if not 2
It may seem expensive at £1000+ to get a professional to do the job, but they spend 10 hours or more that day taking 6000+ photos to a professional standard. Up to 50 hours post shoot sorting, enhancing and album designing these photos again to a professional standard.
Your uncle Bob with his £500 toy and uncle Jim with his iphone just won't cut the mustard
