I have T-Mobile and Vodafone but coverage is MUCH better on Vodafone. Have you looked at Vodafone's plans; their USB Huawei modems connect at 3.6Gbps pretty much everywhere I use it as it is HSDPA (3.5G) and for £25 a month you get "24 hour UK sessions subject to 500MB", so I don't think usage would be a problem!
They also do good plans if you want to use it internationally too.0 -
I know someone who took their laptop to hospital for a long stay and connected to Orange 3g. I suggested he subscribe to Onspeed. He did so and for everyday purposes this cut his data usage by a factor of 4 with no substantial loss of quality. So even a heavy user can squeeze that bit more.
( forgot to mention, last time I looked it was £25/annum for Onspeed which also speeds up 2.5g gprs and dial-up modems, making it seem more like broadband )0
