Being a member of nothing isn't exactly a guarantee.

Just a quick clarification as I think my previous post may have been rather derogatory towards the FMB and it was not my intention to offend Doozergirl as I have the utmost respect for her opinions and advice.
Obviously there are some excellent firms that have membership but it has been my experience that FMB do not do enough to identify and remove the bad apples, as many other such organisations that rely on membership fees to finance their very existence.0
