Moral dilemma, my backside, your OH knowingly let them deliver a second bed, bit of a muppet, isn't he. It's theft, plain and simple, if he can't see that and he really needs you to post on a forum to work that out I feel for you.
But hey, as long as you don't mind them billing you for it any time over the next 6 years then yes, knock yourself out, keep it.Accept your past without regret, handle your present with confidence and face your future without fear0 -
Surely there is no "dilemma" here. The way forward with this is clear.0

Is this for real?
Looking at all the threads started by OP, they really should be cast for reality TV.0 -
Of course you should return the bed! The poor courier is probably going to be suspected of theft after a bed he was delivering just disappeared...0

Well, just remember, there are far more dishonest customers out there than dishonest companies
Got to love the entitled British public0 -

Unfortunately this is true. I suspect that if the company had double billed the customer they would be coming on posting an entirely different thing.0 -
We had a somewhat similar situation, many years ago.
We'd ordered a bed, it arrived OK. A short while later it broke (be quiet at the back!
) so we arranged a replacement. (Just the base units, not the mattress).
When the delivery guys came to deliver the replacement and collect the broken one, they actually had TWO on the van for us (with paperwork to match - 2x base units, 1x mattress; so a replacement base unit plus a complete new bed). We convinced them that this was an error, and contacted the supplier to advise them that the extra bed was back on the van to be returned to them.
So slightly different to the OP, but similar. If we were able to realise that 2 beds being delivered at once was incorrect, how come OP's hubby didn't realise the extra delivery was wrong given they already had the replacement? (Oh wait ... he did realise, and thought he could get away with it).0 -

Are you casting aspersions on the OP's character?
