Plant for a container in permanent shade?

Hello
I need a plant for a container/pot to go in a spot in my north facing back garden that is in constant shade. Also can't be anything that could be poisonous to cats

2.22kWp Solar PV system installed Oct 2010, Fronius IG20 Inverter, south facing (-5 deg), 30 degree pitch, no shading
