My Wife has 3 credit cards from 3 different banks and building society's. Over the years the interest rates have increased and the bank/building society's have increases her credit limit with out asking her. Can we claim back any money ?

    LOL. Probably not.

Credit card interest rates are (usually) variable. Card providers can change (vary) them. Punters now have the option to reject interest rate increase and close their account, but they do have to pay off the balance with the previous interest rate.

Your wife would have been informed about interest rate and credit limit rises.

She is aware that she didn't have to continue using the card, despite the limit increase? If she is struggling to make repayments she should post a SOA on the Debtfree Wannabe board.

If she still has the receipts, she might be able to take some stuff back to the shops?
