PLEASE READ BEFORE POSTING: Hello Forumites! In order to help keep the Forum a useful, safe and friendly place for our users, discussions around non-MoneySaving matters are not permitted per the Forum rules. While we understand that mentioning house prices may sometimes be relevant to a user's specific MoneySaving situation, we ask that you please avoid veering into broad, general debates about the market, the economy and politics, as these can unfortunately lead to abusive or hateful behaviour. I've just paid £99 membership for mover protection and bthey have one solicitors near to me I Can use but it's £2700 as opposed to another I've had a quote from, which is £1800. This is a big difference so before I ask the solicitor to proceed, I Want to make sure I'm doing the right thing by taking this insurance out and paying £900 more for their solicitor. Has anyone used them? Apparently we're covered if the buyer or seller backs out of purchase and get our money back for anyone work the solicitor has done for us.
