Any recent luck with Lloyds ??

Hi Has anybody had any luck with Lloyds PPI recently??
I've had a phone call today with a series of questions so just waiting outcome ! Feel like it's a real waiting game.

  • Recently made my first PPI complaint to Lloyds regarding a loan from over ten years ago. Received acknowledgment about five days after sending in the complaint, had a phone interview about two weeks after that and three weeks later receive a letter that they are upholding my complain. Redress paid 5 days later :)

Hi that's great news !! Mine was very long time along, were you asked things like " was it male or female that sold you the loan?? ?? I was as honest as I could be but couldn't remember finer details like that as it was so long ago
  • Didn't get asked that, just a few general questions about why I had the borrowing, was PPI discussed etc. Was probably on the phone less than ten minutes including all the ID&V etc, to be honest I just felt like they wanted me to repeat what I had put in the form :)

    Good Luck!!!

Hi did they pay direct into your account ?? Only I owe money on a credit card so concerned they will pay it off that ?
  • I was looking on google the other day and happened to see that lombard direct was taken over by RBS ,i then had a thought that i had taken out a loan with Lombard in the 90's so i looked at the RBS page to see how to check, called them up, they said yes you had a loan in 1997 with ppi, so i filled in the forms on wednesday, they acknowledged it via text on friday and texted me on monday to say they will give me £400,all done in less than 5 days,Now Lloyds on the other hand rejected my claim, then i saw that the FOS had advised all Lloyds customers to get them re-investigated as Lloyds were doing it all wrong, so i did, they accepted my complaint to re-investigate my original complaint,15 weeks later !!!! still nothing.Useless.
