Bath in front of low window

Hi guys,

We are due for a second viewing on a house on Saturday (First time buyers) and we would want to re-arrange the bathroom if we bought it so we could get a separate shower in. The problem is the only real place we could put the bath would be in front of the window - now this wouldn't normally be a problem but it is an old sash window and is very low as the ceiling in the bathroom slopes. Would it be a really bad idea to put a bath in front of the window, bearing in mind the top of the bath would come ABOVE the window sill?

Any thoughts would be good, thanks!

Just allow in your costings for some very good, reliable blinds ?

Or more seriously, not sure where I've seen it but you could install white film on the lower half of the lower sash. Bit like tinted windows, but white and less transparent.

Freestanding bath made to look like a feature, could work.

We have a seperate shower and its used 99% of the time, the bath may as well be made from chocolate for how often we use it, so bare that in mind when considering issues like spashing (how often will it happen, if everyday, it would become a pain, once a month, not too much hard work to wipe up)

shoe horned plastic bath with strange boxing in, no, just no!

    EDIT,
    I'm talking something like this

Sorry 'JP08', It's not people being able to see in which bothers me (it's not overlooked at the back) but the fact that the window sill will end up being below the level of the bath and whether that would be feasible - sorry for not explaining the problem very well :(

Sounds like only a freestanding bath is doable ?
Never, under any circumstances, take a sleeping pill and a laxative on the same night.
