Writing a Business Plan

Having a business plan is one of many things Revenue looks at in deciding to challenge whether you are self-employed or an employee. It's just a small factor, but if you think that might be a close run thing, might as well put one together to get another factor on your side.I have five stars! This doesn't mean that I know anything about any of the things I post. I could be a raving lunatic, or a brilliant genius, or just some guy on the internet. In fact, I could be all three at the same time.
If anything I say makes sense, then do it. If not, don't. Don't blame me or my stars if you do something stupid because I suggested it. I'm responsible for my own stupidity only. You are responsible for yours.
Why, I don't even have five stars anymore! Aren't you glad you aren't responsible for my stupidity?0 -
Im a sole trader but ive prepared a business plan and gant chart ( which is effectively a time line ) as I have four areas of work im doing with different investments, expenses and takings. Some are in profit but some are in loss ( due to annual investment expenses) its complex and different parts of work have been carried out at different times ( some overlapping ) Its really just sitting there in case HMRC want more information about the various expenes as its very clear in its plan and chart but impossible to describe clearly in text.
OP - I didnt find a lot free on Google either but I got enough by keeping searching and cribbing stuff together.Stuck on the carousel in Disneyland's Fantasyland
