We went driving through a mountain tunnel totally in the dark ... that was a bit of an adrenaline rush.
Only because I could find the headlights switch in the hire car though. Not recommended for safety reasons

HAHA!! we did EXACTLY the same thing!! Was that the tunnel on the way to cap formentor?
Wife's a very nervous passenger and it pushed her right over the edge!!0 -
We stayed in Palma Nova last year and hired a mini trike / go kart for a couple of hours which was a good laugh.
You can also hire a Segway in Palma, toward Portixol marina.
Or maybe a helicopter ride? Beer bike tour? Take a look here : http://www.yougodo.com/en/Unusual-things-to-do-in-Palma-de-Mallorca/Search.aspx?l=2512989&d=100&c=114
Campanet Caves makes a great alternative to the Caves of Drach, not as touristy too. And there is a company that can arrange more active days out too such as mountain biking, caving, climbing etc but I can't remember their name, just google it and I am sure you will find it.Lea

We drove to this lovely little cove and whilst sitting in a cafe eating our chips, suddenly realised we were surrounded by papparazzi with the most fantastic zoom cameras filming someone the other side of the cove, so up I got with my little pink samsung only to realise Michael Douglas, Catherine Zeta Jones and their children were eating in the restaurant opposite and were coming down the steps to jump into their dingy.
Its a beautiful cove worth visiting.

This is another of my favourite out of the way places, not that exciting for children but we love it there.
