TNC debt collection letter for unpaid PCN

Just a quickie - I have today rec'd a letter from TNC asking me to pay a charge of £140 which relates to an unpaid PCN issued by UK Parking Solutions....

I have no idea what this is for but relates back to November 2014!

I am assuming UK Parking solutions have issued some sort of charge for parking in a side street to where I live but don't remember having the ticket on my windscreen.

Who are TNC??? Are they debt collectors?

Am I to late to appeal?

regards
Sarah :-)

read post #4 of the NEWBIES sticky thread

also send the template letter to the PPC disputing this invoice (post #1)

Thanks - a letter to the Debt Collectors and the template letter to the PPC will be sent tomorrow.

I don't think I ever got a NTK letter from the PPC!

that is why you treat this as the first NTK , seeing as nothing else has arrived yet TNC clearly have your address etc

send the template letter off to both , stating that this is the first you have heard of it and you are appealing it

keep a free cert of posting from the PO if sending by post (not recorded)
  • I have received a Final Demand for Payment from TNC, but i do not what for. I was given a ticket for an incorrectly displayed ticket in Falmouth Museum Car Park in July 2014. I disputed with Popla based on mitigation of there being a thunderstorm that day, but it was rejected.

I want to go back to Armtrac the PPC with a letter, but not now sure as to which would be best to send. Do i try the Popla template and submit or am i too late now? or should i write back to Armtrac, ignore TNC and say this is the first NTK i have received and go from there.

I wish i'd come straight her, but so unwilling to pay this and want to do my best to fight, to the courts if needs be.

Any suggestions gratefully received, regards Graham

the best suggestion is that you please follow the rules and netiquette and dont hijack another members thread who I was helping deal with their problem

threads here are free, so please go to the main forum and click the blue NEW THREAD button (top left near the green banner), copy and paste your previous post, start a new thread and receive a bespoke reply tailored to your circumstances, leaving this thread alone for the OP themselves

    thank you
  • So my appeal letter was rejected by UKPS and TNC are still sending me letters. I have again sent another letter to TNC advising the debt is still in dispute and to leave me alone but unsure how to proceed with UKPS?

IGNORE them both (for 6 years) as you have denied the debt

the only papers you need to deal with would be either a genuine LBC or a genuine court claim (MCOL)
  • I wish I ignored the letters in the first place but was under the impression that wasn't the right thing to do anymore?

its not, but you have done all you can apart from complaining to the landowner and demanding a cancellation

you could also complain to the DVLA

    and to your MP

in fact, to anyone who may listen , maybe even Eric Pickles himself ?

IGNORE debt collector letters has always been the advice and that does not change and never has

the ball is in the UKPS court, you have no control over events from now on so all you can do is file the paperwork, complain to all and sundry and then not ignore any LBC or MCOL

there is no "magic wand" with these matters
  • Thanks for replying.
