Just to update, I have now insured the dog with Petplan. They were quite a bit more expensive than Help U Cover, but we've moved to a new area and I want to be sure that the dog will be covered by a company which is big enough to be familiar to the vet, even if the dog isn't

You've made a wise move £500 is nothing these days, my dog cut one of her pads open nearly 4 weeks ago, we're just about to break through the £1,000 spent mark :eek:0
