Black and Decker Cordless Pole Pruner

Options
Has anyone else got one of these?

I bought one today in Focus for £45 (down from £90), basically a small chain saw on a pole. The battery life is terrible, its supposed to cut 80 7cm branches on one charge, mine cut 4 10 cm branches, I recharged it and it did the same again.

Anyone any better experience? Dud battery pack?

Type of wood will have a big impact on this! However, I'd contact B&D direct and see what they have to say, it may be, as you say, a poor battery pack!!

Decent set of loppers might be a better option. They'll certainly last longer!

Rechargable batteries don't develope full capacity until they have had several charge/discharge cycles..If it does not improve after this ,take it back.

I have seen your reviews and it seems you are impossible to satisfy. Can you name a single company who has come upto your expectations?
