Hi all. I have recently had the DuoHeat installed into my flat. However, I would like to know one simple question that I cannot seem to find the answer on any page online. Does this have an inbuilt thermostat so it can detect the temperature of the room and release/retain heat as and when the room gets cooler/hotter? The reason me asking this is, yesterday was quite warm, I got up around 8am and went to feel my heater and it was almost cold, it had been on the same setting as the previous days (have had it about 3 weeks now) and normally I can't even put my hand on it, it's that hot. So I just wondered why it was cooler yesterday morning? This morning seems to be as it has been the past few weeks. Very strange but I wouldn't mind knowing the answer. Thanks

The duoheat can adjust the amount of night charge automatically. If the last day has been hotter than expected, then it will take a lower charge the next night.
The duoheat has no mechanism to control the release of heat.
If the room is unexpectedly cold, then it will use a normal convector heater to bring the temperature up to the set level.0
