Argos ripoff

Hi,
I purchased on item from Argos on line last week but then decided that I didn't want it.
I have now noticed on my bank statement that Argos DID refund my money BUT the next entry shows that they then TOOK the money out!
What can I do about this, who do I contact? My bank or Argos?
Cheers.

Hi
Unfortunately your post isn't a grabbit,
Just call Argos and tell them whats happened and then there is no reason why they won't refund you.
You said that they refunded it and then took it which means you have paid nothing so thats fine?I’m a Senior Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on Competitions Time, Shopping & Freebies boards, Employment, Jobseeking & Training boards If you need any help on these boards, do let me know. theres no error. think about it say you had £150 in the account before purchase and the item is £10. the refund would mean you would have £160 then taking it out is £150. it just cancels the refund out.Mortgage free wannabe

The only way this is a problem is if there are TWO withdrawal claims and only ONE refund.0

People are far to quick to use the word 'scam'
Check your facts again. If two charges have been made and only one refund then a mistake
has been made. Everyone makes them at some time.
If so, then just ring them, they will sort it out for you.make the most of it, we are only here for the weekend.
and we will never, ever return.0 -
looks like the refund was made to your account , before the payment one was showing , std bank speed ,0
