HELP! Think something fell off my car?!

Do you drive an Alfa Romeo? If so, something probably did fall off your car, although maybe not the thing you picked up.Let's settle this like gentlemen: armed with heavy sticks
On a rotating plate, with spikes like Flash Gordon
And you're Peter Duncan; I gave you fair warning0 -
Ok so my partner has asked the garages he delivers to and they haven't got a clue, one also said it looks like it is off a lorry. My friend who works for a parts place can't even find a part that resembles it.
I've picked up some scrap metal haven't I?
Something like this: http://www.grafftruckcenter.com/custompage.asp?pg=partsspecials
Its just broken away from the rest of the shoe, I reckon - probably snapped at the welds.
Shouldn't be left laying around on the road though!0 -
Brake shoes don't just jump out of drums having snapped off the weld so cleanly.0

Do they still teach English in schools these days? So many people make this mistake, I don't believe that they do.
They clearly don't teach manners though to spotty little keyboard warriors like yourself.
Why don't you get back to call of duty.0 -

And your helpful response to the OP is.....Life isn't about the number of breaths we take, but the moments that take our breath away. Like choking....0 -

No - you did right to stop and pick it up - left lying in the road it could well have caused some major damage for another road-user.
As for the grammar police - ignore them.
They can have a joyous time counting the number of errors in this post.
Great fun i'n'it?
ps. How many apostrophes should there be in 'innit'?
and should 'innit' have a double 'n' anyway - or should I start a sentence with 'and' with no capital letter?
But I agree - teaching has gone to the dogs - I think it started when the teachers stopped wearing gowns and hoods - and stopped beating the pupils.
Bring back corporal punishment for bad spelling!0
