furniture help

Im looking for wooden living room furniture, tv unit, console, nest of tables etc however everything I see is very expensive! Can anyone suggest a decent shop/website thats not too dear!

    Argos or Ikea would be the obvious suggestions - if they are too expensive then you are probably looking at secondhand in which case the classified ads in the local paper often yield some good bargains - or even Freecycle come to that if you can transport it.

    Since no one has any idea where you live, suggesting a shop is rather tricky, unless it's a national chain.
    No free lunch, and no free laptop ;)

    live in scotland but travel all over uk for work so any uk shop is fine. Im not looking for Argos or Ikea more solid wood type furniture, maybe 2nd hand is the way to go

    Check out Corona range if you like that kind of style. They are in expensive.
  • Do you have a local British Heart Foundation furniture shop? It's a very affordable, and ethical, way of buying if you don't mind second hand.

    I usually look on ebay when I see something I like, I visit the sellers online shop or contact them for more info when I find something

    Try local charity shops. There are some near me that just specialise in furniture and there are lots of quality solid wood furniture for next to nothing.
